Just a kiss goodnight..

On the way home last night from Bluffton, this song came on the radio,
it was called "Just a Kiss", it's be Lady Antebellum..
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
I don't know what I would do without music..
It's so real, it's so enpowering, it makes you think, and feel, it can be a good feeling, a sad one, maybe even a mad one, but no matter what song is playing, you feel something from it.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Well when this song played, I got an insanely great, deep, lusting, happy feeling..
If you listen to the lyrics, that's how I feel. Yes, I'm talking about a boy.
I don't know what's happening to me, but I like it.
I like this feeling, the 'gitty, giggly, lust' feeling.
And I honestly can't wait to see what does happen...

Here's some of the lyrics..

Lyin' here with you so close to me
It's hard to fight these feelings when it feels so hard to breathe
Caught up in this moment
Caught up in your smile

I've never opened up to anyone
So hard to hold back when I'm holding you in my arms
We don't need to rush this
Let's just take this slow

Just a kiss on your lips in the moonlight
Just a touch in the fire burning so bright
And I don't want to mess this thing up
I don't want to push too far
Just a shot in the dark that you just might
Be the one I've been waiting for my whole life
So baby I'm alright, with just a kiss goodnight ...

I got some new kicks, say whaaaat

That's right! I went shopping with my mommy today in Bluffton at the Tanger Outlets, and I wasn't really finding anything until I ventured over to Nike, I walked in, went straight to the back wall; which is where all the clearance shoes are, as I looked up, their they were! Meant for me :)
I walked down the wall, and found a whole wall of shoelaces, many fun colors, of course I went with neon green.. hey, I want to bring back the 80's okay..
They only cost $44!
 I'm in love!
I'm even wearing them as I type this..

Meet us at the Greek...

I am not a huge fan of Greek food, but today on the way to Hilton Head Beach, my friend John and I stopped at this place called The Greek Table. Let's just say, it turned out being really good! I would say for what I got, it was a good price. I of course got the Fried Calamari, which came with a Greek Potato (soooo tasty!), Rice, and a Greek Salad. John got a Gyro with fries, and It came with some Pita Bread. It was a nice lunch, relaxing, quite hot out; but in the shade it was nice, the only thing I didn't like was there was a bug that just kept getting in my face. But seriously if you are ever in Hilton Head try this place out! It's great! it's right next to Publix, about a third of mile away from Rose Hill.

How do you feel about Greek food?

We'll make it a river day...

Don't you just love those days where you drop everything your doing, and go out on the river?
Well that's exactly what my brother, Anton, my brother's girlfriend, and I decided to do. It was flood tides today, so we went in search of some tailing Reds. We only saw two tails.. they were fairly small. But we did have fun! We went walking in the thigh high water, played in some pluff mud, saw crabs, snails, and lot's of birds, went in search of some new flats, got stuck on top of some marsh..
...Yeah, it was a lot of fun! Did I mention on the start of the day, I was like 'Picture time' and my brother let go out the tiller, and spun us around! He saved Anton from sliding off the boat.. but wow, it could have ended up being bad! Ha ha, so for now on, I wont say 'picture time'!

Doesn't my little brother look like a pro fishing guide.. I'm so proud of him.

Hello Sage...

Meet Sage, the baby Canadian Goose.. also known as 'Thumper'.
Sage came to us yesterday; while I was at Graduation, my brother and his friend were fishing in a pond. I guess when they were getting ready to leave, they saw the baby Goose, and it was having problems walking. So my brother, being the caring person he is, ended up getting the baby and bringing it home for us to take care of it. We ended up taking it to the vet, and it did have a fractured foot. So we are going to keep it for a little while.
***Update: Turns out baby Goose was starting to get a little too active for us; lot's of walking, pooping, eating.. so we released him back to the pond, and as soon as we got out of the car, his daddy came up on the the bank, along with his mommy and three siblings, and imediantly bonded! Yayyyy! It worked, they took little Sage without any problems. We have been checking up on him since the release, and he is still with his family!

A hero in the making..

My friend Chels and I went and saw one of my best guy friends named Leek, (yes, we call each other by our last names), graduate from Citadel today ! I'm so proud of him! He's such a great person, and he has always been a truly great friend. He's such a sweet, fun, charming, sarcastic, optimistic, hilarious person, and he gets a long with everyone, kinda like me. We used to always go to Moe's together, spend hours jumping off his dock into the river, riding around in his 'clean' Jeep, we even went to the Shrimp Festival together! He swears up and down we are going to one day get married...

Did I mention he has the sweetest and best looking parents? Well yeah, he does. They are such great people! And even his cat, Chester, is awesome!
Now after Graduation, Leek is spending his summer at his North Carolina beach house.. must be nice!

I'd say they were a little packed...

The someday married couple..

Leek showing me his displayed photography.

Welcome to Moe's!

Air Show 2011

The Blue Angels came to Beaufort this weekend!
It was my first time actually going on Base to watch them; normally I sit outside and watch them fly over. But this time my friend Meg wanted to go and see what it was all about, so we did. Let's just say Saturday was a lot of fun! We met soo many people, including a Pilot that lives here in S.C., and some cute Marine boys. I am glad that I went, I have always loved the Blue Angels, and four years ago, one of the Blue Angels crashed here in Beaufort. It was such a horrible time, I was headed to prom, and I heard it crash, I saw all the ambulances, police cars, firetrucks.. I just knew something bad had happened. It was a hard time.. Beaufort always looks forward to the Air Show, and they stopped coming after that. But this year they surprised us, and came back! They did such a wonderful job. I also loved all the old planes, along with the toy Helicopter that can do crazy stuff..
Sunday I went with Meg and her sister, Chels. It was really packed, lots of families, but I didn't feel it was as good as Saturday, everything kinda went by too fast. But we did get some good pictures with the Planes, Helicopters, Hummers, and other neat stuff!
How was your weekend?
