Jack O Lantern Time

Last night was such a fun night!
Like I said the other night my friend Adam surprised me with two pumpkins (he came to my house while I was watching Revenge, and saw me sprawled out on the couch, sleeping (which I wasn't), he said he knocked on the glass door, but yet I, my dog, nor my parents heard him (did he really knock.. I don't think so!) But I did notice my phone kept ringing,.. guess I should have answered it huh? Well that night when I noticed he called a few times, I called him back, and he said he was at my house and dropped off two pumpkins.. nuh ugh, I said! Until I walked outside and noticed two huge pumpkins next to my gourd! Aww, how sweet, he's such a great friend!
So anyways, last night I took the huge pumpkins over to his house; we had a great night carving, watching movies, and eating pumpkin seeds!

Halloween Time!

Okay is it me, or has October flown by....
I feel like I haven't even been able to celebrate this fun, thrilling, scary, month at all..
What the hell have I been doing with my life..
Well luckily tonight, I'll be getting into this creepy holiday by carving pumpkins with one of my friends; who surprised me with two pumpkins late last night by leaving them on my porch! How sweet is that!
I think I'm going to set the computer up out on the porch so we can watch scary movies while we carve! And I'm going to make some fun drinks!
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Wanna know how to make them?
All you need is:
7up (liter)
Sour Gummy Worms
Sherbet Ice Cream (any flav. will do)
Scoop the Sherbet Ice Cream into a cup, add a few worms, and pour in the 7up, and ta da, you have yourself a creepy crawly fun drink!
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Anyways I was wondering what scary movie I should play..
Hocus Pocus?
Sleepy Hollow?
Halloween?
Scream?
Texas Chainsaw Massacre?
Or
Jeepers Creepers?

What's your favorite scary movie to watch?

Only a few more days till Halloween!
What do you plan on doing for this fun Halloween Weekend?
Are you dressing up? Going to Halloween Parties? Playing it cool and watching movies? Carving Pumpkins? Eating candy, maybe stealing your kids candy? Toilet papering your neighbors?
Ooooo there is just so much to do!

Colors of ... fall

Oh Fall,
how I'm so glad you have finally reached us here in South Carolina.
For the past few days..
 it's been quite nippy outside,
during the days it's in the upper 60's, at night it gets down to the lower 40's.
It's the perfect time for a fire, so of course we have had a few already.
How's the weather in your neck of the woods darlings?

Marco Island!

Hey guys, sorry it's been quite a few days.. you see, my friend, Adam, called last minute and asked if I wanted to join him on a car ride to Marco Island, Florida to move his fathers boat off the lift cause he sold it to another man. Of course, I said! Who wants to pass that up!
So on we left Wednesday morning around six thirty, drove 8 1/2 hours, and finally ended up on the Island. When we got there, it had just rained, and it looked like a hurricane came through. It was windy, and puddles were everywhere. But I didn't care, the first thing we did, was unpack the car, and ventured off, he showed me around his fathers condo. As soon as I saw the pool and hot tub, that was the first thing I wanted to do, so we grabbed some drinks, and headed out to the pool. That night we ate at a really good place, we both got Tuna Salads, then we went out for Coffee at Starbucks.
Then next day, we spent all day dealing with his fathers boat. We took the cover off, which took nearly an hour, put the battery and gas in the boat, and took it off the lift. As we backed the boat up, Adam couldn't turn it! Oh shit, where did the power steering go!?.. Yeah, we sat out on the river like a floating Duck. Thankfully the current pushed us back into the lift. So we were safe. We called a few people to come help us, thankfully the guy that bought the lift from Adams dad, came to help us. We ended up tying our boat to his and he pulled us to the Marina which wasn't far away.. ha ha, it wasn't all perfect though. Let's just say both boats went into columns and got scraped up!
After all that boat mess, we took it to storage, put the cover on, and headed to Publix. After we got some food, we headed for the beach. Ate our Sushi and Cheese, tanned, then went back to the Condo. Adam said there was a shell beach, so we got that kayak, put it in the water and headed over to the beach for a while. We found some amazing shells! Beautiful!
After we got back onto dry land, Adam suggested we go get drinks at this place called Stilts, so that's what we did. We didn't have much time to watch the sun set, but it was still nice. After drinks, we went to Snook Inn, got amazing food. On the way back to the condo, Adam pulled up to the dock, and showed me all the Snook that were everywhere! There had to be at least six or more every time you looked down!
After that, we went back to the condo, got a good nights sleep.
The next day, we drove back home. And we ended up going to Hooters in Jacksonville, it was my first time every going, and I do have to say it was good.
I had such a great time, I went with such a great friend!
I'm so glad he invited down to his Condo.
 Thanks Addie for everything!

There's a lot you can buy for .50 cents and $2

Hey my beautiful blogger friends,
I hope you are all having a great Monday!
It sure is gorgeous here in South Carolina!
How is it in your neck of the woods?
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Anyways, this post was meant for Saturday, but I have had too much on my plate this weekend, so I didn't have time, (I did make time for myself yesterday, I relaxed next to the pool for nearly four hours, with a great friend, and a good magazine). .. yes, a pool. It's still hot here in S.C. jealous?

Well this past Saturday was a GREAT day for going to yard sales. My mum and I left the house right at seven, who knew there were actually people already out that early! There were so many yard sales! It was a lot of fun, especially with one of the Church Bazars, they had boxes of stuff cause they didn't have enough room on the tables, my mum and I loveeeee digging through boxes! We found a lot of great stuff! (I didn't post all of it), but I did want to post the stuff that was .50 cents- $2.- Wow!
You can buy a lot for those great prices, ... don't you just love yard sales, I sure do!
