Lazy kinda day

It's quite a foggy morning,

 the air is warm, but the light breeze makes for a good chill..

Kinda makes me wish I back in bed, all cuddled up, with a good book.

The firsts aren't always the best...

Today is the first day of fall! It's finally here! It doesn't really feel like it here in South Carolina.. which I find really sad because fall is one of my most favorite times of the year! I think back to the movie Hocus Pocus, that town is the perfect 'fall' town! There are: gorgeous leaves changing colors, and falling.. there are big orange pumpkin's next to bales of straw and golden Mum's displayed on porches or walkways, people are in light coats, cozy sweaters, Autumn boots, and maybe a scarf, just enjoying the cool weather. That's what I think of when I think of fall. I really hope there are towns out there like that! Here in the South, the trees are usually green, and the leaves turn brown and hit the ground. . kinda bums you out. But we do get gorgeous fall sunsets, which are amazing! When the sun goes down, the light hits the marsh so perfectly! I guess that's what I have to look forward to then!

Did I mention today is a Harvest Moon? We wont get another one till 2027! My mum and I went walking downtown, and got to see the moon makes it's way up over the marsh it was really big! And beautiful! I love when the moon looks like cheese! Don't you? I hope everyone had a great first 'fall' day!

Some sky..

The past few days we've been having quite some storms! But these storms have been leaving us with beautiful skies, it's just so breath taking..the first two photo's were on the way to Hilton Head, and the bottom two were taken in Charleston tonight. I love taking pictures after storms, the clouds are just so amazing after the storm leaves.. God really knows how to paint, huh?

It feels nice..

I have started painting at Bray's Island again, and im loving it! I was so tired of sitting on my butt at home doing absolutely nothing! Im also glad that the weather has been rather perfect, warm during the day and cold at night. (But it's not going to be that way for long). I also enjoy being out in nature, listening to the birds and squirrels.. there are also these ducks that have flown in that are hanging out in the freshwater pond next to the house that im painting at. Did I mention that I love painting? I have no idea why, but it is so relaxing.. it's way better then any other job I could be working at, that's for sure!

Well I have to go get ready, im going shopping in Bluffton!
