In the midlands of South Carolina...

I just recently photographed a wedding in the Midlands of South Carolina,
on a little Plantation called Buck Ridge.
It was such an amazing place, perfect for a wedding!
It is actually a hunting preserve (which I don't care for since I love animals alive, rather then .. you know, dead). But it was still beautiful.
When you first pull into the plantation, you drive through Leland Cypress Trees, then it turns into Bradford Pear Trees, then you have a field on the left, and a gorgeous colonial style home on your right, when you keep driving, you see the pond with a bridge going across, and a waterfall, let's just say, it's the perfect place for a wedding ceremony.
As you keep driving, you have Pine Trees to your left, and the Hunting Lodge to your right, and if you were to keep driving, you would come up to cabins nestled in the woods. On the other side of the Plantation, you have another Colonial style home and a lodge, there is also Fields, with gorgeous Horses, and dog kennels for hunting.
It was a simple wedding, I would say there were maybe 100 people or less.
The ceremony was outside (let me just say that we have been getting very strange weather here in the South, one minute it's sunny and beautiful, and then the next minute it's windy, and raining). So during the ceremony it was sunny, then clouds rolled in, so they had to have the reception inside. Which sucks for me, I hate shooting photo's indoors. If you've seen my work, you know I prefer outside, with natural lighting. Oh well, good thing I was working with another great photographer.
It was a very fast wedding, we got there at four, took pictures, had the ceremony, went to the reception, watched the couple dance, everyone ate delicious food, then it was time for the cake, and then the tossing of the bouquet, and garter, then a little dancing, and it was over by 9:30 (but we stayed and took drunk pictures of the bride and groom, along with the bridesmaids and groomsmen, they were all so hilarious)!
Congratulations to Josh and Nicole!
And thank you Amy for giving me a chance to do this with you!

It's time to get back in the saddle!

I am officially a proud member of Anytime Fitness!
My mum and I tried out the Seven Day Trial, and even though the membership was kinda pricey, we still had to join!
It's definitely worth it!
It has:
All the machines we need-
Showers-
Weights-
It's open 24 hours-
It only takes around ten minutes to get there-
Small gym-
Private key-
Classes; Zumba, Cardio, Spin, & Yoga-
and best of all; you can watch television on your own little TV screen, all the machinery is brand spankin' new, so it all has TVs! (I don't have cable at my house, so this could be a problem!)

I am going so I can get back in shape, "I want people to be jealous of how great my body is!" I know that sounds cocky, and a little in your face, but that's my goal I've set for myself. (And that's what I also put on the board at the gym, he he! My mum on the other hand wants her "Nice ass back"! - I love it! I also want to maintain a healthy body, and working out is definitely one of the best things you can do for your health, along with a great diet, so let the working out begin!

I actually look forward to working out!

Do you belong to a Gym?
How many times a week do you go?
What is your 'goal' when you go to the gym; are you loosing weight, targeting a certain area, or do you just like to stay in shape?

Beauty Favorites

These are a few of my favorite must have's!

I am more prone to having oily skin, and if you are too, then you should try a a few, if not all, these wonderful must have's of mine!

1. Garnier Nutritionist Moisture Relief, this is such a fabulous product, especially for the price! I usually put this on after I wash my face. It makes my face soft, smooth, and it has the right amount of moisture to where it doesn't make it oily, or greasy feeling.  Bye bye dry skin!

2. Clinique Mild Liquid Facial Soap, I have tried over ten or more face cleansers, which usually leave my face red, oily, dry, or with acne. But this cleanser is perfect for my skin, I used a sample of it (and have been for the past two weeks), and instantly noticed my face clearing up! It doesn't irritate my skin at all, nor does it leave it red, or with acne. The price isn't too bad, $16, as long as it keeps doing it's job right!

3. Estee Lauder Advanced Night Serum, now this product is quite pricey, but well worth it! I use this every night before going to bed. When I wake up the next morning, my skin looks so refreshed! (This I believe is what will help my wrinkles as I start to age).

4. Estee Lauder Day Wear, this too, is pricey, but when I can afford it, it's a must have! Everyone needs some type of SPF during the daytime, this has SPF 15 in it. It doesn't clog my pores, and I feel as the day goes on, it helps my skin look better. It's like a PM repair cream or something. Love it!

5. Dr.Weils Mega Mushroom Soothing Lotion from Origins, (now this is my mums, and she has no idea I use this, after she reads this, she will). After I wash my face, I like to use a type of Toner, unfortunately, I no longer have my Witch Hazel in Rose anymore, so I saw this, and thought I'd give it a try. Well the results were pretty good! This is what makes for a clean face! Just take a cotton ball, and rub across your entire face one time, and it will instantly feel clean! (Then look at the cotton ball to see all the dirt you missed while washing your face, ugh ew). This is a pricey product, thankfully, I didn't have to pay for it!

6. Desert Essence Tea Tree Oil Cleaning Pads, I use these for the what I call 'lazy days', when I do not want to wash my face, I grab one of these Tea Tree Oil pads and swipe it across my face. Ta-da, so clean after one swipe! And thankfully the Tea Tree Oil smell isn't too over-powering. Just make sure not to get it around your eyes! This product is probably the cheapest, it's usually around $4! Can't beat that!

So there you have some of my beauty must have's!
What are some of yours?

Beauty Home Remedies

We all love home remedies, am I right?
These are a few that I found to get you through these winter months.
Most of the ingredients for these remedies can be found in your own kitchen.
I'm definitely going to try the Coffee Bean and Cucumber remedy!

To hydrate dry skin use: Honey
Squeeze a dime-size dollop of honey into palms, blend it with your regular face wash, and use the mixture to give your face a deep facial. For a body wash, use a walnut-size dollop of honey.

Soothe puffy eyes: Chamomile Tea
Steep two chamomile tea bags in warm water, then place in refrigerator to cool. Squeeze excess fluid from tea bags and place over tired eyes for 5 minutes.

Quench parched locks:  Avocado
To make a nutrient-packed hair mask, mash an overripe avocado and mix in an egg yolk and 2 Tbsp. of olive oil. Massage into damp hair, wrap under towel and leave on for 30 minutes. Rinse, shampoo and condition your hair as usual.

Smooth and exfoliate:  Coffee Beans
Dip a wet washcloth into leftover coffee grounds and massage into damp skin from neck down to slough off dead skin. Concentrate on cellulite prone areas like thighs to tighten skin.

Revive tired skin: Cucumber
Puree 1 small cucumber in blender, then add 3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour. Stir until mixture is thick and pasty. Apply to clean, dry face and leave on for 20 minutes. Rinse off with warm water.

As simple as that!

What are some of your special remedies you like to use?
I would love to hear about them!

Bachelor Recap:

Hello Bachelor Fans,
sooo how did you like tonight's episode?
I liked it, other then crazy blogger Jenna, and hot-mama-cougar Blakely.
I do however not like all the crying.. oh my gosh girls, go put on your big girl britches and get outta the bed, and stop hiding in the the luggage room!
I loved watching all the girls act, it's always funny to see such hot sexy women act all silly in funny costumes! I did like when Blakely was a Gingerbread, she looked much better dressed like that!
I am kinda confused on 'model' girl, Courtney. Infront of all the girls she's so cocky, and awkward...but around Ben, she's so sweet, and you start to like her, then she turns weird again as soon as she enters the house! Ugh!
And who the hell are the two blonde's at the end of the show, (during the Rose Ceremony), that they never show throughout the show? I know one got voted off.. but who is there other one? Did anyone notice her during the show, maybe it's just me.
I am still rooting for Lindzi, and I also like the one that brought her Granny, she kinda reminds me of Samantha from Sex and the City. This is the part I like, is when you start getting to know all the girls! I can't wait for next week; who is going to come onto the show, so exciting!....Not really, it's just a show.
Bye bye crazy blogger Jenna!

Bachelor!

The Bachelor is the only show, other then the show Revenge, that I look forward to watching, especially this year cause Ben is back! He is such a sweet, kind, smart, intelligent, sexy, adorable, funny, charming man, can you tell I have a little crush? He isn't your 'typical' Bachelor, he's definitely not stuck on himself, nor cocky like the previous Bachelors, which is a huge plus! I know this show is like a game, but I really hope he does find a special someone... I do think he is looking in the wrong place, his girl is in South Carolina, and did I mention, it's me? Just kidding!
Okay, now for all the girls.. ugh I was wondering, is this season called the 'crying season'? It seems like in the preview of this years Bachelor, all the girls are crying.. please no. That's not fun to listen to nor watch! I did like Lindzi, which was the girl that came riding up on a horse. I thought it was creative, different, cute, and it definitely worked, cause she got the first impression Rose! So far, I like her! Don't let me down girl, I'm rootin' for ya!

Did you watch the show? If so, who did you like?
