Hey ya'll,

 it's been over a  year since I have updated this blog!

.... WOW, where does time go???

I have had so much happen over the past year, I moved from the beautiful coast of South Carolina, to the Poconos of Pennsylvania, to be with my boyfriend that I have been seeing for two years.

It was a big change, but I was willing to do it, and I'm so happy I did! I realized, apart from missing my beautiful mother, my smart father, my butt head brother, my friends, the lowcountry, and that saltwater air, that there was more out there. It was hard leaving that first month back in November, but my parents said "try it, if you do not like it, you can always come home". And that was nice.

 As of right now, I'm actually back in the South! Enjoying the salt air, loving my sun kissed skin, being next to a pool on the weekends, and most of all being with my family and my pets! I have been here since Mother's Day, and I will be leaving a few days after Father's Day, it's a long vacation, but I'm not complaining!

Since I've been here, I have done a few photo shoots.

This first one is of my handsome brother, Nicholas, and his beautiful girlfriend, Hope. These pictures were taken on a Farm that is right on the river, you could smell the saltwater through the Corn... it was pretty peaceful out, perfect for kissing under the Pecan Trees, and messing around on John Deer Tractors!

Hello my beautiful bloggers!

I am so sorry that I have not been writing..

It's been weeks, hasn't it?

Well I went through a lot in these past weeks, my brother's 17th Birthday was on February 6th, so I celebrated that, I can't believe he is getting older! It makes me sad.. I wish he was still ten, and played with toy trucks, and played with bugs!

I then left for Pennsylvania, to see my boyfriend; I ended up flying in on his Birthday! What a great birthday present, huh? My Popeye (that's what I call my boyfriend cause he has really really big muscular arms) turned the big ol' 26! I landed there pretty late, so we went out to dinner, hello Olive Garden. Then back to his place to open a few small gifts I got him. The the next few days we saw friends, went bowling, went to a western/country bar that had a bull, went out to eat, watched movies, played in the snow, etc! Then it was off to Niagara Falls for Valentines Day, he surprised me with the most gorgeous ring! It was just a gift, but a beautiful one! We went to lunch at a really tasty hole-in-the-wall Pizza joint, I ordered pasta, he ordered a large pie. Then for dinner we went to TGI Fridays, which was really good! We saw the Falls on the United States side; this summer we are going to go to Canada's side! Let me just say, it is very cold! Everything was iced and snowed over, it was such a fun experience! It was one of the coolest places I've been! Note to self, if you want to see the Falls at night, go to Canada's side; you can barely see anything on the United States side. After our few days at the Falls, we ended up driving back, I loved driving through Buffalo, NY. I think it was really pretty, but that was probably because of the snow. I did like seeing all the Buffalo's on the side of the road! (There really are Buffalo's there!) The drive back was really fun. I love getting off the interstate, and driving on back roads, seeing all the old barns, gorgeous farm houses, cows in the snow, wind mills, nature. Perfect for whipping out the camera!

After I left Pennsylvania, it was time to celebrate my dad's birthday, he turned 52 years old! He's an old fart, huh? Not really, he still has a while to go! We went to Florida for the day, it went from being happy to all of a sudden throwing the GPS out the window! I guess that old age was kickin' in... oh birthday's, they are so fun!

I just love going on Etsy, and seeing all the 'Valentines Day', 'Love', 'Be Mine', Red and Pink stuff..

......You know what all that stuff means right?

It means, it's that time of the year, when you have to go sweat your ass off trying to go find your significant other something --- and it also means CANDY HEARTS! Yay yay yay!

I really do love the whole 'Valentines Day' thing, but I really do not like how you have to go buy lots of stuff, for what..., and guys are just so hard to buy for, what do you get a man?

All I want is some wild flowers, and some candy.

A new cell phone, preferably a cool IPhone (so I can be cool).

To adopt an old kitty from and the Animal Shelter.. and a dog, and a rabbit..and and and..

Yeah, those are some fun gifts!

Why can't I get gifts like that?

But to me, Valentines Day isn't all about that material stuff..

It's about being with that special someone, being in love, all happy, and cuddling in bed eating a nice Valentines Day breakfast!

Personal note:

Today is the day!

My boyfriend flies in from Pennsylvania today, okay more like tonight.. he gets in to Charleston at 11pm. I will probably be passed out in my car at that time, while waiting for him..

 I have been cleaning non-stop! And I still have so much to do, ugh! Why do I like everything to be clean.. he's a guy, guys don't care about stuff like that.. but still, I must clean!

 I just can't wait to squeeze him! Being in a long distance relationship has it's ups and downs, but tonight nothing will matter, I just can't wait to see him!

I already have a few things planned, let's hope he doesn't read my blog.. but on Tuesday, I'm surprising him, we are staying at Hard Rock Hotel in Orlando, and I am taking him to Islands of Adventure, and Universal Studios! We will be there for two nights. On Thursday, we are going to Blue Water Springs to go snorkel, and then I'm taking him to Daytona Beach, we are going to stay in a hotel on the beach! It's going to be a lot of fun! And during all of this, we are going to some pretty amazing restaurants, so be prepared for some food pictures! Did I mention he has never ever been to Florida! It will be super fun!

Happy Valentines Day Everyone!

For starters, I just wanted to say my boyfriend and I did 'our' Valentines Day yesterday!

It was great, I loved it, everything was perfect!

 I surprised him with a picnic downtown, along the battery. I made him Red Velvet Cake, it was so cute, I got a blanket, plates, plastic forks and a knife, napkins, drinks, and of course the cake. I thought it was a great idea. (and if he didn't like, I still did). He surprised me with an adorable black and white picture of us kissing, taken by Amy, he even put it in a black frame. While we were getting ready to clean up, he walked behind me, and surprised me with the Owl Necklace I wanted from Etsy! I was in love, I can't believe he took the time to do it!

Our Sushi restaurant wasn't open, which was no biggie, so we went to The Saki House, and got sushi there. It was a little more pricey, but the sushi was gorgeous! -and they have tasty Miso Soup, yum!

After dinner, we went back to my house, I walked in my room, and next to my bed, on the table, was the Rose Bush I have been wanting, with a card next to it! It was so sweet!

It was a perfect Valentines Day! I'm just grateful to finally have a Valentine of my own ♥

It's time for some puppy lovin' ♥

Okay warning.. I was in slacks, no make-up, totally not picture ready, butttt I wanted to show you all this adorable puppy!

 I was watching a movie last night, and one of my guy friends, Charlie, walked in totally unannounced, and showed me this adorable puppy he's watching! Isn't she soo cute? Puppy's are the one thing that can bring a huge smile to my face!

Did I mention she liked to give kisses, and she had the wonderful puppy breath.. awwwies!

isn't that so sweet?

 I really like how my family does Holidays. Why celebrate being in love on Valentines Day? Why get flowers then, and not a few days before? Why not wait a few days after to celebrate, and get all your candy half off? .. In my family, we like to change it up. And this time, my dad wanted my mum to enjoy her flowers over the weekend. I like that cause this year it falls on a Monday, and you can't really do much on a Monday.. so we are doing everything over the weekend.. it's a weekend for loveeee!
