Hello New Year!

What are some of your New Years Resolutions?
Here are mine:
Stop biting finger nails-
Get my ears pierced; after 21 years-
Smile, smile, smile :) -
Work on getting that summer body back and keeping it-
Find a best friend-
Take lots of weekend trips-
Find a job that I will love-
Travel-
Sell my photography-
Get my passport-
Those were just ten things, I plan on adding more to my list! I can't wait for the New Year! It's going to be great! I'm spending my New Year's in the Mountains, so that's already a great start to the New Year. I plan on playing lots of games with the family, making a few drinks, and counting down the minutes to a new year! What are your plans for the New Year?

Christmas Lights in Florida!

Mount Dora Florida.
A few days before Christmas.
Taken with a Nikon-D3000;
 on the no flash setting.

Isn't this park just amazing? Every tree was lit from top to bottom! Someone really put some effort into making this park look so dreamy for the people in Mount Dora. I am so glad I got to see it, it was very dreamy for me- thank you.

24 Days of Coastal Decorating..

Here's some pictures from the 25 Days of Decorating from Coastal Living. How great is the dining room, with the bulbs hanging from the chandelier, or that white living room with the green wreaths on the windows.. it's just so perfect. And those coastal looking presents, are definitely my style! One day I plan on having a Tropical Christmas, with a lit up Palm Trees, bright blue and green wrapping paper, star fish, and so on.. I can't wait!

Things do happen..

Okay everyone, here's another story I haveeee to tell you all about-
It all started when I was in Day Care, I had a best friend, we did a lot of stuff together, and I remember going to her house a few times. Unfortunately, we ended up going to different schools, and lost contact.
Well recently I was with my mum, and I brought my friend up, If only I had remembered her first and last name I told her! I always wondered what happened to her.. and my mum just remembered they lived in Pleasant Point, and drove a Blue Volkswagen Beetle Bug Car. Well lately one of my really good friends, (who I have been friends with for the past few years), keeps coming back home from school to be with her father who has Cancer. (Please Pray for her and her family, that's all I ask you guys to do). Anyways, every time she comes home, I always see her, and we always go to the bars and just have fun. But she really needs to be with her father, so we wont be seeing each other as much.. any who, I was talking to my mum about her father, and my dad walked in, and asked what his last name was, and where he had worked. When I told him, he made the comment that his daughter used to be my best buddy in Day Care! I really didn't think about it.. how could it be, all these years I've been looking for her, and she has been here the whole time! I immediately texted her, and asked here all these weird questions, she probably thought I was crazy. But when I said we used to be friends she just said "Crazy", It's a small world!" I finally found my old Day Care buddy! It's crazy how things like that happen in life. I am truly grateful to have her in my life. She's a great person, she's so fun to be with, and she always has the biggest smile on her face!

Meet Mr. Owl,

decorated with golden ornaments..
Isn't he darling?

Let's laugh together..

This is Feebee, one of my 'special' kitty's.. She has the tendency to drool when she's really happy.. so expect to get wet, when you pet her. But the other day when I was on here blogging, I realized she was staring at me, with her tongue out! Was she copying me? I mean, I like to stick mine out when I type.. but there's nothing wrong with that. I think she was making fun of me, maybe that's what she was doing! Well luckily I had my Nikon next to me, so I snapped a few pictures of her, the first on I think she's just doing it, just to do it, but the second picture she's definitely making fun of me! Heh, I hope this makes you smile!

Warm & cozy..

So my family wanted to do a little Christmas shopping, so we went to Savannah, Ga. to go to Bass Pro. My brother goes crazy in that store, I don't know why.. it must be a guy thing. He made me follow him around the store and pick out shirts, he picked out like four that were over $30.00, yes, he thinks Santa is obviously Ballin' Rich.. I picked out a comfy jacket that was $75.00 (I think that's pricey..) and I picked out some boots, like the L.L. Bean kind, that has wool inside, except mine has plaid thick lining in it- I love them! My mum picked out some clothes. And my dad picked out a fishing rod. After Bass Pro, we went to Target, my brother treated me to Starbucks! Yessssss, I love the holidays, they have the best drinks during that time! I ordered the Caramel Brulee Latte', Nick ordered the Mint Mocha.

We ended our Christmas shopping with going to Chili's for dinner. My mum and I ordered Tropical Sunrise Margaritas, yummy! We also ordered salads, with Black Beans, and slices of Avocado. My dad ordered Chicken Fajitas, with Black Beans and Broccoli, and my brother ordered an Avocado Burger, with fries. It was all really good, thank goodness! Being a vegetarian is sometimes hard.. but you can always order a drink and a salad. Ha ha, okay so I my brother (who I think, is really a blonde) was at the table, I said to him, "I ordered a salad with the the Margarita", he replied "Oh you get a salad when you order a Margarita"? He is too cute.

Let's take a look in that room..

It's always Christmas in my Mum's bedroom, she loves Christmas more then anyone else I know! She collects fabulous vintage Santa's, Elves, Snowmen, Ornaments, and so on! She recently bought an Antique Santa Head-Bobber, he's so adorable! She used to have a white tree in the corner of he bedroom, but took it down a few years back, well this year she thought it needed to come back out again. So she fluffed it out, added her lights, and ornaments, and ta-da, it's back! (Hopefully she'll leave it up after the holidays). I really just love going in her room, looking at all the fun holiday stuff! Here are a few pictures from her room, I would have taken one of her whole bedroom, but it's full of gifts for people (and you never know if those people are peeking on here!) Enjoy ladies!

Living in a Winter Wonderland..

This is my Winter Wonderland, it's filled with little homes with snow on the rooftops, feathers as snow, Pinecone Gnomes; smoking their little mushrooms (Hah!), gorgeous Reindeer decked with vintage bulbs, and a white feather tree, with pretty pink ornaments!

Guys presents

Okay, so you know when you see gift sets at Target or Wal-Mart and they kinda just look cheap, in their cheap boxes, with plastic? Like who really wants to open that.. they are most likely going to say, "Oh wow, they spent like eight dollars, and got me a gift set". There's a much better, and cheaper way to do it! I like to take all the stuff out of the package, place it in a box, with fun straw or paper, that way it looks like you bought each on individually, and spent a little more money, heh. (My little secret, don't tell!) But it's really not about the money to me, it's more on how the present is wrapped, and how much time someone put into the present to make it all nice-and-pretty for me! Today's examples are for guys, I bought a gift set at Target for around $8, greeeat buy, especially for Old Spice! But instead of wrapping the prepackaged box up, I decided to take everything out, place it in a better box, so it doesn't look cheap. Then I wrapped it in 'nautical' looking paper, to make it look a little more guyish. The second package is a small gift, but doesn't the wrapping look so cute! That lobster tag came in a whole bag of tags that were only 75 cents at a Yard Sale! Amazing-
