Time to get that party dress on

I would love to pick one of the three dresses above for New Years Eve, but unfortunately Free People no longer has those styles..

Soo I had to make due with what they did have, and I'm really liking the choices!

I'm not really big on the color 'black', that was usually my safe color a few years ago, and when I look back on those few years ago, I hated seeing that one color (all the time).

Lately, I have been wearing a lot of cremes and neutral colors, which I love, it's so girly, and oh la la!

I do have three dresses hidden in my closet for those special times, such as New Years Eve, and I am so ready to bring them out!

Of course they don't look nearly as fun as the dresses below, but I'll make due with what I do have (and save some money)!

Get it while it's cheap!

If you know me, you know I shop for the best deals around town!

Why buy paper for $5 or more, when you can get it at Target for only $2.50! ....Yes, I said $2.50.

Did I mention it's 9 yds x 3.33 ft (if you aren't very good at math, let me just say, you get lot's of paper!) It's recyclable, and it's made here in the USA; in good ol' Cleveland OH.

Okay, well this is the part that gets better!

 You know when you walk into Target, they have a little dollar section between the restrooms, well I usually by pass that area. But this time, Christmas stuff caught my eye!

I found smaller rolls of Christmas paper and Christmas tags (you get 40 tags) for only $1!

What a deal!

While watching Dancing with the Stars tonight a commercial for Payless came on. It was advertising Christian Siriano's fall collection. I was impressed, the shoes they were advertising were really cute, perfect for Fall, and I can't complain about the price (as long as they last longer then one season). I ended up visiting the site, and coming across a few other Designer shoes that I liked. I haven't purchased shoes from there in quite some time, but I just might have to stop by Payless sometime this week just to see how good these shoes really are!

....not good as all.

                  Have you ever gone into a store, came across gorgeous high heels, and said to yourself "I just have to have those"?

Well, I do that in almost every store I go in, but I usually leave empty handed.

Not this time!

I just had to have these gorgeous heels!

They are by Jessica Simpson, can she design heels or what; I love almost all of her footwear.

Okay, now this is the great part, they were only $29.99!

Gotta love Marshalls.. they were over around $100 before.

That's right! I went shopping with my mommy today in Bluffton at the Tanger Outlets, and I wasn't really finding anything until I ventured over to Nike, I walked in, went straight to the back wall; which is where all the clearance shoes are, as I looked up, their they were! Meant for me :)

I walked down the wall, and found a whole wall of shoelaces, many fun colors, of course I went with neon green.. hey, I want to bring back the 80's okay..

They only cost $44!

I loveee color a lot! This spring/summer, I am going to try to wear as much of it as possible! I just recently purchased a green high-waisted skirt, ( I can't wait to wear it with my wedges), gold and coral chandelier earrings, & a white chiffon tank..

I usually wear white shorts, with a little bit of color, but last year I wore a lot of navy blue, black, and white. So this year I need to spiff it up a little! I have always adored the tropical look, so why not try it out!

I believe bold colors, make you bright and cheery!

I did it! I did it! I finally did it!

After 21 years, I finally got my ears pierced! I can't believe it! Yesterday, my mum wanted to take a ride to Bluffton, to Tanger Outlets, well I went into Banana Republic, fell in love with multiple skirts, and tops.. looked around, and realized all the lovely younger women were dressed so well! They were all perfectly tanned, gorgeous hair, great clothes..blah blah blah. I looked in the mirror, EWW.. me: no make-up, hadn't taken a shower that day, (we went right after I got back from work..), and I was wearing plain white shorts, and a long sleeve Clemson t-shirt. Wow, I looked like I just got pulled out of a drain...

So there I was, not wanting to shop, cause I looked hideous. I told my mum, she laughed, said 'everyone is on spring break..', well as we walked past Claires, I said, 'we should go get my ears pierced, let's get it over with'. My mum, looked at me, and laughed, then she said 'really?' Then before I could say anything she said, 'yup, we're going go to get them pierced'. So I go in there, thankfully the woman was coming to her third year of piercing ears, good thing! Right when I agreed to do it, (to make my day worse), she said she needed to see my mum's ID! ..Ugh hello, I'm 21, thanksss. So there I was sitting in the hot seat, squeezing a teddy bear, she said I looked like I was about to cry.. no, I just looked bad, it what I wanted to tell her. But less then five mins, I had my ears pierced! It didn't even hurt! I was soo proud of myself, I finally did it!
But on a lighter note, i'll finally be wearing gorgeous earings, and stealing my mum's Tracy Porter earings!

I'm loving the color purple right now, it's perfect for spring, don't you think? I love just little hints of it, whether it's on a ring, scarf, top, belt, or a shirt. I would really love to add purple to my wardrobe.

something great came in the mail today,

wanna know what it is?

My very own camera strap cover! 

My new 'Bestie', Amy, had such a pretty camera strap the other day when we went to go take pictures, and I wanted one, so I went on Etsy, and found the perrrrrfect one! I love it!

It took awhile to get my strap through the cover, not really good at getting things through long holes (if you know what I mean).. good thing I had a man next to me telling me how to get it through- the only bad thing about my cover that I do not like, is that it doesn't have a place to put my lense cap, that's what I really liked about Amy's. Oh well.. I can't alwaysssss get what I want. I love how it's so girly on one side, with vintage flowers (perfect for Spring coming up, right!), the other side is dots, it's just perfect! I am just so happy to have to have one, and it feels soo much better around my neck! Now I'm ready to go take pictures again!

I love finding great deals, and me being a size 8 1/2 - 9 1/2, it's usually impossible to find great clearanced shoes, well now I found some, that I just adore!

Ps. I don't know why my nails look yellow, eek- it must be from my pearl colored nail polish.

Warm & cozy..

So my family wanted to do a little Christmas shopping, so we went to Savannah, Ga. to go to Bass Pro. My brother goes crazy in that store, I don't know why.. it must be a guy thing. He made me follow him around the store and pick out shirts, he picked out like four that were over $30.00, yes, he thinks Santa is obviously Ballin' Rich.. I picked out a comfy jacket that was $75.00 (I think that's pricey..) and I picked out some boots, like the L.L. Bean kind, that has wool inside, except mine has plaid thick lining in it- I love them! My mum picked out some clothes. And my dad picked out a fishing rod. After Bass Pro, we went to Target, my brother treated me to Starbucks! Yessssss, I love the holidays, they have the best drinks during that time! I ordered the Caramel Brulee Latte', Nick ordered the Mint Mocha.

We ended our Christmas shopping with going to Chili's for dinner. My mum and I ordered Tropical Sunrise Margaritas, yummy! We also ordered salads, with Black Beans, and slices of Avocado. My dad ordered Chicken Fajitas, with Black Beans and Broccoli, and my brother ordered an Avocado Burger, with fries. It was all really good, thank goodness! Being a vegetarian is sometimes hard.. but you can always order a drink and a salad. Ha ha, okay so I my brother (who I think, is really a blonde) was at the table, I said to him, "I ordered a salad with the the Margarita", he replied "Oh you get a salad when you order a Margarita"? He is too cute.

If you haven't tried this amazing hand soap from Bath & Body Works, then you need to go to the store and buy six of them (cause they are on sale for $20), go home, and wash your hands in all the different scents.. you'll be happy! My favorite is the Caramel Apple, it smells sooooo delicious, and it keeps your house smelling quite delicious as well! I just want to keep washing my hands! And let's not talk about the fabulous candles Bath & Body Works has! I could go crazy in that place- What's your favorite scent in Bath and Body Works?

I love looking through Etsy, especially during Halloween time! You can find some of the best handmade stuff! Just look at some of the things I found while gazing through the Halloween pages.. my all-time favorite Halloween stuff, is anything paper mache, or clay made, it takes time, and it's usually pricey but the little guys are just too cute! My mom has a lot of that kind of stuff. (I guess that's why I love it soo much).
