Red kisses

I think it's time to experiment with red...
I have always loved women who can pull off red lips, I'm not sure if I'm one of those women, but for today, I'm going to try it out.

Hello Sunshine..

Meet Brittany,
 you've probably seen her around,
here on my blog..
she is a gorgeous little beauty, who makes amazing Cheesecake, works out at Sports Authority on the showroom equitment, she knows how to have fun, and did I mention she's my brothers girlfriend? Well for the day, she's my model, she is always up for something! I put her in some of my clothes, and we headed out to the marsh. The sun was going down, it was the perfect time to get some fun shots. We had a great time, even if it was really cold outside! And of course Nick, my brother; her boyfrined, was there to cheer her on, and give a few little kisses from time-to-time.. aww, how sweet!

Brittany is wearing:
Lace Dress/Target, Jean Jacket/ Calvin Klein, Mustard Scarf/Yard Sale, Boots/ some place in Wyoming.

Let me get some blue with that orange..

I haven't done a fashion post in nearly forever! (Cause it's been quite cold out, can I use that as an excuse?)
Well, since I can't go outside to do one, why not do one inside the room I'm painting..
These 'clothes' are not just an ordinary clothes, they are actually lingerie, I'm wearing a long grayish-blue skirt slip, with a negligee' over it, and I'm using a see-through robe as a cover up. I also used a vintage pearl pin to add a bit of flow to it. - You can't really tell by these pictures, but it's very romantic looking. Who says you can't wear lingerie on the outside? I can't wait to go out in it! (Of course I might add some black or gray stockings since it's cold out.)
Now, when I did this little shoot right below, it was breakfast time.. so I had to post my bowl of Oatmeal with thrown-in Blue Berries, and my little bowl of Oranges and Berries.. so tasty! The perfect way to start the morning!

Let's get country-

She's a country girl,
she's got a 4 wheel drive,
up city streets, down country roads,
she'll take you where you want to go..

The war is gone..

There once was a war here..

So today's pictures were shot in a great location, but I can't give it away- my little secret, all I'm going to say is this location had to do with a 'war'. This Oak Tree is one of my favorites! It's gorgeous, and it's like no other tree! Boots-Thrift, Skirt-Target, Tube top-Wet Seal, Sweater-Ralph Lauren, Ring and Pin-Flea Market

A girl in the marsh. .

Ha ha.. I was going to do my title as "A girl in her marsh", but I didn't think that sounded appropriate if you know what I mean. But anyways, here is today's look. The top is like crazy 70's I believe its from TJ Maxx, or Marshalls. My shorts are Roxy. Belt Eddie Bauer. Boots are thrift. I am in loveeee with my $6.99 boots! Aren't they fabulous? And I can wear them with pretty much anything! Doesn't this post kind of remind you of Tracy Porter ? That's what I was going for! (It's for my mom, she love love loves her clothing, shoes, and jewelry! Oh yeah and did I mention she has her bed spread and sheets ha ha!)

And yes, i'm standing in the marsh.

Let's try something 'new'.

'That looks like a good place to take a picture'. And I have to agree, it was! This was my outfit of the day- just girly.. and comfortable for the long hour drive to Charleston!
Dress- TJ Maxx, Cardigan-Costco, Cheetah print shoes-Target, Belt-Thrift, Earings-Antique Store.

And For Lunch:
For lunch we ate the Magnolia Cafe' again in Charleston, I had the crusted Flounder, with tasty fries, and cabbage, turnips, and carrots. My mom had the veggie burger with the same sides as me! It was really good! But once again we didn't have room for dessert! Oh well, I guess I'll have to wait till the third time I go.
----------------------------------------

New new new! I thought since it was a new season, I should go with a 'new' me. So I thought, hey, let's change it up, and dye my hair! (It's not permanent though, I've never dyed it permanently!) But I love doing it this way. My natural hair color is like a Golden Blond/Brown. The before picture is a little dark, with the lighting, but my hair is a little lighter then that. And in the after picture my hair is still a little damp. But I just wanted to show you all! What do you think? Do you like before or after?
