News Year Eve

What is one of ways you can bring in the New Year?
By going to the Drive-in with your momma to go see New Years Eve! Well, that's what I did...
And it was great!
I know it's only Thursday, but still, it felt like I was ringing in the New Year while watching this movie!
I liked the movie, some might say Valentine's Day was better, but I kinda liked this movie a little better, maybe it's because Sarah Jessica Parker was in it, and she's my girl!
I did however think Michelle Pfeiffer looked kindaaa frumpy (she does not look good with dark hair), Katherine Hegil didn't look to great either (until the end), and Bon Jovi... looked a little odd, maybe he is just getting older. But other then that, it was cute. The end made me tear up a little bit (I will not say why, but there were two reasons, one dealing with Robert De Niro, and the other with Halle Berry).
And the end is the best part! Through out the film your wondering who Josh Duhamel is going to end up with, and it's keeps you guessing! I can't give it away for the people who haven't seen it, but let me just say, I don't think Fergie likeddd it!
If you haven't seen this movie, then go see it!
Hey, maybe it's something you can do on New Year's Eve!

Hello Colin Farrel

Let's take it back to the 80's
Yeah, I'm talking about Fright Night!
I went to see this last night with my mum; the good thing about going on Tuesdays at nine o'clock, is it's discounted, (even though 5 dollars still seems like a lot for a movie), and we were the only two people in the movie theatre. I loveeeeee that! Pick any seat you want, no one is talking, you could eat anything without people giving you an evil look.. yeah it was nice.
______________________________
Let's get back to the movie, well for starters Colin Farrel is such a hottie in this film. I have a thing for Vampires as it is.. think Twilight, Queen of the Damned, etc. There are some really good looking Vamps!
But Colin .. woooo, he's such a cutie!
It's a really good film!
I don't really remember the original Fright Night, therefore means I need to go find it on DVD, and watch it.
As you know, the kids neighbor is a Vampire, who is pretty much eating the whole neighborhood up. The kid tries to kill Jerry, yes, the Vampires name is Jerry. That's all I'm going to say about this movie. There are some bloody scenes, unexpected scenes, and scenes that keep you on your feet! If you haven't seen it, do go! And if yours an 80's fan, then I'm sure you will love this thriller!

Isn't he hot! Mmhmmm he can come bite me anytime!... "Sorry Corey, (boyfriend), but your girlfriend has a thing for good looking Vampires.."

Water for Elephants...

Water for Elephants...
Was such a great film!
I didn't think I could picture Mr.Vampire, with Sweet Home Alabama girl.. but turns out, they worked, they fit perfectly together in this film. (Even if she is a decade older then him). I like the feeling you got from watching the movie, it is set back in the early 1900's, during the depression. I just love that time period; the way it looked, the fashion, the different class of people, even the Circus, it just felt real to me. That's how a Circus should be..
I am going to say the ending is goodit's the kind of romantic ending you'd want in a film
But during the movie, there are a few parts with torturing animals, I'm a huge animal lover, so to watch that; even if it is just 'acting', is still hard for me..
Rosie, the Elephant in the film, is such a sweet creature, I love Elephants to death, they are one of my favorite animals! It amazes me how they could train Elephants to do those kind of tricks, it's so crazy! I just wish they didn't have to harm these beautiful animals enable for them to do these tricks..
I haven't been to a Circus in awhile, but watching this, makes me wish the old time Circuses would come back. (Just without the torturing animals part.. and Red Lighting people off a train..eeek).
But do go see it! It's worth it!
If you have seen already, did you like it?
and Thank you Ty for taking me :)

Let's Scream four more times..

Yes, I went to see Scream 4, and let's say, I liked it a lot!
I have always loved the movie Scream, and when I found out they were coming out with a fourth one, I was stoked! And they had all three original characters, woo! With this movie, it was your typical plot, high school kids getting stabbed.. blah blah blah, but I love it! At least with this end, they did something different.. I would have never guessed it. You need to go see it, even if you aren't a Scream fan like me!

We need to be elegant..

Let's talk the 18th Century. For one thing, I love the clothing back in that time, very elegant, classy, and gorgeous. Even the men dressed amazing, in their velvet coats, and top hats. Here are three movies that take place in that time. Pride and Prejudice is a favorite of mine. The men in this movie are so handsome, and the way they are dressed.. yum! (I like a nice man in some sandy jeans, and white t-shirt, with boots.. but you can't beat the Velvet Jackets, and Chiffon Shirts, with Beige Tights, and Knee High Boots). The women in the film were just as gorgeous, but nothing to far-out like the wardrobe in the film Marie Antoinette. Now those are some gorgeous gowns! And that hair, .. trying doing that everyday! Even if it's a wig, could you imagine holding that up on your head all day while you were working. I love how in that film everyone was dressed in elegance. The one film I haven't seen yet is Young Victoria, but I'm dying to see her wardrobe, along with her man's. All the gowns look stunning! I must go rent it today! But the one film that beats all these films is Ever After.. it was the first 18th century film I fell in love with, the clothes, the 'man', the castle, the scenery. I loved it all! I just really adore that time. I know it was hard, but I think it was worth it. That's when you really knew how to dress, and fall in love.. ah.. now there is no more romance..
Whats your favorite film set back in that time?

Let's meet those little ones..

I went and saw Little Fockers! It was such a cute film; just like all the other ones. I am soo glad they had all the original characters in it. I really love Barbra Streisand and David Hoffman together, they are both such funny people, along with Ben Stiller (of course), and Robert De Niro! I also loved Jessica Alba, even though the girl is stunning, she is still silly, which I like. But really, you guys should go see it! It has some really funny parts!

By the way, oh my gosh, I forgot to tell you guys! My man, Paul Walker, is in Fast and the Furious Five! I am sooooo excited! They have all the original characters in the movie, (including the cute Asian guy from Tokyo Drift, who died!) -Can't wait to hear what actually happened to him- But I can't wait to see it!
Have you seen any new movies recently? I love hearing about the ones that actually get great ratings, unlike that Love, Sex, and Other Drugs movie, horrrrrible movie! And I went on a date to go see it, ps. don't go on a date when you see nudity in the ratings.. Anne Hathaway showed a little too much in that film. And the movie was just on going.. ugh.. so bad!

Anyways, I'm off to go out for the night with some buddies that are home for break still. I hope everyone has a great night!

"He sure is a pretty pumpkin"..

The one thing you have to have during October is a pumpkin! It is just a must- I have five on my porch outside, three muli-colored, a big orange one, and I have a white one. In the eating area, I have a big green one (He's my favorite) two little white ones, a white one with orange stripes, and a little multi-green-one. Along with lots of gourds! I just love love love pumpkins! They are really fun, and festive. Look at these fabulous pumpkins I found while snooping around on some magazine sites-
Do you like pumpkins as much as do? What is the one thing you have to have during this time of the year?
-----------------------------------------

(Oh yeah, and just to let you know my 12 days of Halloween movies kinda started early this year) But tonight I watched this movie that just came out called Frozen! It's not scary like oooo boogy man, but it's like real-life-or-death scary! It's about Three skiers that are stranded on a chairlift and forced to make life-or-death choices that prove more perilous than staying put and freezing to death! Did I mention there's some knee's breaking, wolf packs, frost bite.. yeah, scary huh? I give it a 3 on a scale 1-5. You guys should go see it!

Eat Pray Love..

I went and saw the movie Eat, Pray, Love today with my mom, and I really liked it! It actually made me learn a little, you have to find yourself... you can't make anyone else happy until you can make yourself happy.
She went to some beautiful places! It really makes me want to get off this computer, and go see the world like she did! And try some amazing food, and meet wonderful people, and maybe even find that special someone.
You all should definitely go see it!
Did I mention James Franco is like the sexiest man in the world! .. Okay maybe not the whole world, but damn, he comes close!

Food of the day- Potato Leek Soup, one of my moms specialties!

Life is for Living..

I went to see Charlie St.Cloud tonight with Jason, my brother, and his girly friend. I thought it was a really good movie, other people thought it was weird, but I think it's because they couldn't really understand it... I liked it though, and Zac Efron is such a hottie, mhmm! The movie has it's sad parts, but it turns out to have a happy ending, you will see. And im soo jealous, the movie was filmed in Canada, and let me just say, good thing im getting my Passport cause that's the one place I plan on going very soon! It's beautiful!

It looks like it's going to be an Eclipse out!

I just saw the Twilight Eclipse movie and I loved it! Edward is just so so so sexy to me, ugh! And so is Jacob... Bella is just so damn lucky to have to great looking guys, both fighting for her love! My only complaint in the movie was they changed Victoria!!! Why? I liked the other one a lot better, this Victoria is just to goody for me.. I didn't like that about the movie, what did you think about her? If you are a late go-see-er like me, then you really should think about going to go see this movie! I can't wait to see the next one-
And I really want to see:
Grown Ups,
Salt,
The Other Guys..
and soo many more!
What are you looking forward to seeing?

Planet Earth.

Im watching the second disc to Planet Earth right now and im so intrigued by it! I just can't seem to stop watching it! The first disc, "From Pole to Pole," serves as a primer for things to come, placing the entire series in proper context and giving a general overview of what to expect from each individual episode. It shows the polar regions; from penguins to polar bears, great plains; to elephants, zebras, wilds dogs, many different birds, & antelope, deep seas; to seals & great white sharks, the jungle in New Guinea; which have some various birds, and it shows the seasonal forest; which show the amur leopards that are nearly becoming extinct. The second disc is about caves. It shows people actually free-falling into them, then people finding the "Chandelier Ballroom," a crystal-encrusted cavern found over a mile deep in New Mexico's treacherous Lechuguilla, it shows different animals that are found living in the cave, such as bats, roaches, salamanders, crabs, many different species of fish, glow worms, etc. The deepest cave is found in the continental United States! It's just so amazing what are found in caves and how far people are willing to go to find out (for us) to see. I can't wait to watch the next disc. :)
