Twenty Two with a little bit of grey..

It's my boyfriends 22nd Birthday today!
I (along with a few other of Jason's friends) went to Outback for his birthday. It was a lot of fun. A few of his friends came down from Charleston, and then a few of his friends here came, too. It was a lot of guys, and you know how guys are! They are nothing but trouble..After Outback, I took him to my house. I had an Angel cake covered with whip cream, strawberries, and blueberries waiting for him, along with some presents. My family sung him Happy Birthday then instead of eating cake first, he wanted to open alllll his presents.. But I think he had a lot of fun, and that's what I wanted.

Florida is the place to be..

There's just something about Florida that makes you feel good. I don't know if it's the weather, the smell, the people, the St. Augustine grass, or all the Publix's.. but I feel good every time I go down there to visit! Even during the summer, when it's dreadfully hot, it still feels way better then South Carolina. I guess cause Florida has a breeze, and it also rains some part of the day for ten-twenty minutes, then it's sunny again.
-Anyways, this time I went down there with my mom, to visit my Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, and my Uncles girlfriend to give them all of their Christmas presents. It was really nice seeing everyone. I just love being close to family. But while we were down there, my mom and I went to a few Yard Sales then to some thrift stores to search for Old Vintage Ornaments, we found a few but they were your average vintage colored bulbs. The next day my Aunt Renee' took us to Tony's which is an amazing Pizza/Italian Restaurant, I ordered their tasty pasta, which comes with a salad, my mom and Aunt ordered a mushroom pizza. It was all just so good! Then she took us to a Flea Market, that I had been wanting to go to the whole day, when we got out of the car we hit our first outside ( I guess booth ) and as I was walking I spotted ORNAMENTS! It was like a gift from the Santa God or something. Then my mom started going through this guys junk.. it was just soo much fun! We didn't even have time to go through the other booths. We even went inside their moving truck (Which they were unloading) to find things. My mom found a lot of fun antiques, and the price ending up coming out to only $50 for all this amazing stuff. Wow!-
The next day my Aunt Debbie took us to the same thrift store (that my mom and I had went to a few days before and got the colored bulbs from) and guess what? There were more vintage bulbs! They were beautiful. I think it's funny cause my mom said "It's going to take you a while to find your collection of vintage bulbs". Ha ha, I guess you were wrong mom!
I can't wait to go back to Florida. I would really like to just spend a week, and go to thrift stores, and fle markets, try some hole-in-the-wall restaurants.. and just have a great time!

(If you know of any really good places to go, please let me know)

Fun little finds in fun little places.

I found a little treasure today.. okay, a few little treasures. Once again, it was off to Charleston, and this time, while my father was getting his MRI done, my mother and I went to a few Antique Stores and this place called Southern Accent Interiors (It is such an awesome store! You could go crazzzzay in there). Both places have fun vendor booths, my mom & I found an old fashion santa, actually we found two vintage santa's, a few vintage ornaments, a cute little vintage sheep ornament, and my mom got me a little mouse in a shoe. It's just so much fun going to Antique stores.. or thrift stores, you never know what your going to find!

What a wrapping rush!

So the race is on to get all of the family; Grandparents, Great Grandparent, Aunts & Uncles, Cousins.. also friends, gifts out! My mum and I are going to Florida this weekend to drop off some gifts, and we actually only have today and some of tomorrow to get everyone's presents ready! ( My father is going to MUSC in Charleston to get some test's done). It's really a rush, if I'd say.. good thing I enjoy wrapping! I'll post what they look like tomorrow.
Also. . please please please help pray for my Father.. he is going to MUSC tomorrow to get an MRI, and I am just praying that nothing is seriously wrong with him.. He's going through a really hard time right now, and thinks he might have M.S. So just please pray. Thanks a lot.

A Christmas Treasure!

One thing I have to thank my mother for is showing me the beauty in old *vintage* fashion ornaments. She has been collecting them for years, and through the years I have gain love for them, and I as well, have started my own collection. I found these lovely beauties at a Thrift Store in Charleston SC. the other day. They were only $1.49 and I believe the three pink ones were like .10 .. what a buy! Plus they are American made! I love them! I especially love the turquoise ones ♥ . A few years ago my mom, her sister, and I went to this Thrift Store near Orlando FL. and we found tons of old ornaments, they were beautiful And in great shape! I am just on this rampage to find more more more old ornaments! Hopefully when we go back to Orlando, that thrift store will have them again..
