Oh how I love a good deal...

 

Glass drawer pulls go with anything and everything.

 I love how you can make a single piece of furniture romantic just by adding a glass drawer pull. Or you can add them to an old rustic kitchen for an instant pick me up. You can even leave them on a tray as a display, maybe with some pretty flowers.

I'm going to add my drawer pulls to a built in cabinet in my bathroom, I cannot wait to see how they are going to look!

That's what it needed!

My mom and I went to a few Yard Sales today.. and at first we were like "ughhh.. why isn't there any good ones?!" , and we were about to just quit. But we both agreed on going to one more, so we did and it turned out to be one of the best one's this year! This woman had the coolest things, she loves Dolls, so she had some dolls and really fun Japanese stuff! She also had amazing furniture! Which is what we were interested in- her furniture was just beautiful! We got two desks, a long side table, a Gothic table/hutch piece, and a really artsy wood chair, ohh yeah and the Urban Outfitter looking lamp that's on the desk with the phone, she just gave that to us! All for around $1,000! I mean.. honestly where are you going to find such great furniture for that price? It really made a difference in our house, take a look-

It has to look and feel good..

I think we found our new sofa! It's called the Reagan Sofa, it's on sale right now for $599.99 (was $699.95) at Pier 1 Imports. It actually looks like it cost more then it is, which is always good. I tested it, and I have to say, even though it wasn't one of those big, comfy, unattractive sofa's, it was still much better then the one we have at home right now! At least three people could sit on this one, or someone could lie down. Now all we have to do is maybe find one or two chairs to go with it.

Moving out...

Here are some things I really really want when I move into my own place..: a dresser head board/foot board for my bed, a chair and a sofa, glasses and plates, dinning table with two chairs (unless I had space then I'd say four chairs), definitely a hamper,

The right sofa for you..

Looking for the right sofa is pretty hard to do. We bought a Martha Stewart sofa set (sofa and two chairs), a few years back so we would have some furniture to sit in while we were still redoing our living room. Well, after years later, we still have some stuff to redo in our living room, like redo our ceiling, paint the walls, and put up trim. But after much consideration.. I have come to the conclusion that our living room will probably never get redone cause our house is still not done, so we should just go out and buy a new comfortable sofa since everyone is always in the living room.
