"He sure is a pretty pumpkin"..

The one thing you have to have during October is a pumpkin! It is just a must- I have five on my porch outside, three muli-colored, a big orange one, and I have a white one. In the eating area, I have a big green one (He's my favorite) two little white ones, a white one with orange stripes, and a little multi-green-one. Along with lots of gourds! I just love love love pumpkins! They are really fun, and festive. Look at these fabulous pumpkins I found while snooping around on some magazine sites-
Do you like pumpkins as much as do? What is the one thing you have to have during this time of the year?

(Oh yeah, and just to let you know my 12 days of Halloween movies kinda started early this year) But tonight I watched this movie that just came out called Frozen! It's not scary like oooo boogy man, but it's like real-life-or-death scary! It's about Three skiers that are stranded on a chairlift and forced to make life-or-death choices that prove more perilous than staying put and freezing to death! Did I mention there's some knee's breaking, wolf packs, frost bite.. yeah, scary huh? I give it a 3 on a scale 1-5. You guys should go see it!

So true! I agree 100%, pumpkins are essential for the month of October. These pumpkins you've pictured here are like masterpieces!! One time my mom, who is a pro, carved a huge pumpkin and carved out little stars and moons - it was really cool! They make a great centerpiece, too. I love how creative people can be with them! I saw a blog post about using old fishnet stockings to wrap around pumpkins, making it look like a spider-webbish kind of coating.

I love white pumpkins! Your green one sounds fun -- I'll have to hunt one down!

I love all these pumpkins. My favourite thing about halloween is the creative carving!
