How can you resist vintage ...

One of the things I love about my mum is she loves to go to yard sales, flea markets, thrift stores, etc.. and buy vintage jewelry. She will buy bags of jewels, and get them for a few dollars, and you never know whats going to be inside those bags! Today she was going through her dresser, (getting rid of some stuff), and I noticed a Ziploc bag filled with jewels, I grabbed the bag, "those smell really bad.. they came from a smoker's house I'm assuming", 'she said. I had to laugh, she had dryer sheets in the bag to make them smell better! Too cute! Well I opened the bag, thankfully they didn't smell like smoke (smoke gives me the worst headache). I noticed a few pretty things, vintage earrings, pearls, a vintage anchor, and some other pretty little things! It was like Christmas! I did find a pair of clip-on earrings I like, but the little blue balls are falling out, so I'm going to redo them, I will post that sometime this week! I hope you like these pretty little vintage jewels, I know I do!

I love vintage jewelry. My daughter got me into it, and I bought a few pieces. I wear them frequently and just love them. These are great images!

oooh, i love it all. anything rhinestone (or better yet, diamond) is ok in my book. and the fact that it's vintage makes it so much better!

That blue statement necklace and cocktail rings are stunning! I'm with you- I hate the musty smoky smell associated with many vintage items- it's impossible to get out

Vintage jewelry seriously gets me every time! They just don't make it like they used to. I came into a huge bag of vintage jewelry pieces at a flea market and started designing upcycled pieces from them - so fun! Found you on Spunky Chateau's link up - say hello to your new follower!
