The rain will fall..

While I was bike riding this morning, it was sunny, half way through it, it started getting cloudy, and the wind started picking up, right when I was a block away from my house, it started to pour.. yes, I got wet, but once it got done raining, it was the perfect time to grab my camera, and go get some gorgeous pictures!

Let's recap...

There's going to be a full moon out tonight..
I wanted to show you guys these pictures I took last Thursday while waiting for my friend (who was taking FOREVER!) Just kidding, I'm glad she was running late for our date so I could capture these pretty sail boats floating on a sea of glass, with the moon shinning bright in the sky.
Taken with a Nikon D3000 on the no-flash setting.

Hello Birthday Boy..

Heyyy everyone, sorry I haven't been posting for the past few days, it was kind of a busy weekend! Friday was my Dad's 51st Birthday!
We took a road trip to the outskirts of Jacksonville, Fl. to the restauraunt, The Sandollar, which is one of my favorite places to eat. It's off of A1A.
Anyway's we went there for his birthday, we were one packed little Suv! There was my dad, my mum, my brother, Nick, his friend Anton (pretty much our adopted brother), my dog, and myself. My mum says we were a packed can of Sardines! We went to The Sandollar for lunch, then went to a few Fly Fishing Stores, which we spent most of our day at. My dad, brother, and Anton love fishing more then anything, and my dad loves to talk, so of course he spent his whole day talking to the owners of the stores.. after that we went to Burger King, and some how we all got high.. I have no idea how, but we were all laughing over the dumbest things, but we had a great time, except for the long ride back home.. where my brother and Anton were singing, and trying to car wrestle.. boys being boys.

There's a full moon out on that river..

I'll take you to Factory Creek..
So tonight I went out with my good ol' friend, Amy, for a little girls night. Unfortunately, the other girls weren't there, but that's okay, sometimes I need my Amy time. We had some great conversations, we couldn't even order cause we couldn't stop talking! I just love her, we can talk about anything, and we can stuff our mouths while we do it! She got stuffed Flounder, which I totally forgot to take a picture of! -Opps! I got Catfish, with Asparagus, and Red Potatoes, the Entree' also came with a tasty salad, with little Shrimpies on it, it was sooo good! And Amy ordered a basket of Hush Pup's, Thanks Amy! The food was delicious, our scenary was gorgeous, and the service was great. I really recommend you go if you ever visit Lady's Island!

".. and the thunder rolls, and the lightning strikes.."-Garth Brooks

As you all know, spring is right around the corner, which means it's time for blooms & buds!
I went out and found these cute little Muscari Bulbs on clearance for $2.50, so of course I grabbed them. I found a Glass Vase, some Rocks, and Soil, and ta da, they had a place to grow! I saw some at Lowes the other day that were blooming, they were such beautiful flowers, the perfect flowers for spring other then Daffodils! -Which I just recently had in the kitchen, but they started getting a little too big, so I planted them outside.. (they are a lot happier out there).
 Are you ready for spring?

"All I ever wanted was to see you smiling"..-Basshunter

What you eat shows up on your face, and if it doesn't show up on yours, then in sure does show up on mine.
___________
Lately, I have started getting the worse acne, I have no idea where it's coming from! It's all over my forehead, which I'm hoping it's just sweat bumps, but it looks very unhealthy, and might I add, gross.. I have been working out a lot, and I usually tend to wash my face right before I work out, and I swab toner on it after the work out, so that way my pores don't clog. So what is causing this disaster? Well, I'm going to try eating better, that means eating tons of fruits & veggies, drinking tons of water, eating yogurt or Organic apple sauce when I crave something sweet, and laying off on the sugar! -and taking my Fish Oil, and Vitamin E.
___________
Let's see if that will change it, I sure hope it does! I never ever get acne, and if I do, it's one or two pimples, not all over my forehead, and hairline. If you have any advice on what you do to keep a clean, pimple-free face, please share! And for those of you that are like me, try these great Antioxidants from Self Magazine!

Blueberries- Eating the sweet treat increases circulation, resulting in glowing skin.
Kiwi- The fuzzy fruit serves up skin-smoothing vitamin E and helps banish blemishes.

Mushrooms- They're a top source of skin-saving B vitamins and may short-circuit sun damage.

Oranges- Citrus-rich lotions speed up cellular turnover, enhancing radiance.

Spinach- The water-rich veggie attacks blemishes and hydrates skin from the inside out.

Walnuts- Their oils protect skin from environmental hazards and boost skin.

Strawberries- The bold berry is rich in collagen-firming vitamin C and lightens skin spots.
