Hello Colin Farrel

Let's take it back to the 80's
Yeah, I'm talking about Fright Night!
I went to see this last night with my mum; the good thing about going on Tuesdays at nine o'clock, is it's discounted, (even though 5 dollars still seems like a lot for a movie), and we were the only two people in the movie theatre. I loveeeeee that! Pick any seat you want, no one is talking, you could eat anything without people giving you an evil look.. yeah it was nice.
______________________________
Let's get back to the movie, well for starters Colin Farrel is such a hottie in this film. I have a thing for Vampires as it is.. think Twilight, Queen of the Damned, etc. There are some really good looking Vamps!
But Colin .. woooo, he's such a cutie!
It's a really good film!
I don't really remember the original Fright Night, therefore means I need to go find it on DVD, and watch it.
As you know, the kids neighbor is a Vampire, who is pretty much eating the whole neighborhood up. The kid tries to kill Jerry, yes, the Vampires name is Jerry. That's all I'm going to say about this movie. There are some bloody scenes, unexpected scenes, and scenes that keep you on your feet! If you haven't seen it, do go! And if yours an 80's fan, then I'm sure you will love this thriller!

Isn't he hot! Mmhmmm he can come bite me anytime!... "Sorry Corey, (boyfriend), but your girlfriend has a thing for good looking Vampires.."

That's right, here in the South, the Bull Grapes, also known as Muscadines, are in season! Thankfully we have a few Grapes Vines of our own along our garden, so we have plenty of them. But a about a week ago, we did stop and get a few pounds in Charleston off of Hwy. 17 at the Muscadine Farm. You can't go wrong with these little guys that come in all sorts of Varieties, you have the tart tasting, the sweet, the really sweet.. you have them in Green, Purple, Golden.. and they are all tasty!
Note to self: they do have seeds, so watch out!

The Crab Shack, Tybee Island GA.

Hello Crab Shack
I have lived an hour away from Savannah my whole life, and never have I once, even gone out to Tybee Island! I would flip through Coastal Living, and Southern Living, and see gorgeous Tybee houses, and say, one day I will go there! Well on Sunday, my brother came up and said, we should all take a small family trip out to eat somewhere nice.
So we decided to venture out to Tybee Island, and go eat at The Crab Shack.
The drive out there was beautiful, that's what I love about the South, the green marsh that keeps on for miles, all the small rivers, even the big rivers, the birds, the beach, the gorgeous sunsets, with Sorbet colored skies.. it's just all so great. When we arrived at the Crab Shack, let's just say... it's a shack! There is nothing classy about it! But that's what makes it fun! There were kitty's everywhere lounging under cars, or lying on chairs, sleeping the day away. When we walked up to she Crab Shack, there were so many things to take pictures of! But we managed to get past all the crazy stuff, and find seats on the deck, looking at the river. Untill.. it started raining. So we moved inside, they set us next to where the little baby Alligators were, while we waited for our food, we watched little kids, even big kids, feed the gators with a dog treat attached to the fishing pole!
When our food came out, it looked delicious! It was very filling! I'd say every one's plate looked quite tasty, and I'm talking about everyone sitting around us! If your going to eat the the Crab Shack, make sure you bring an empty stomach with ya!
After dinner, we went to see the Gators, then walked over to the dock, took some family pictures, then ventured into the gift shop, which had a few gorgeous exotic Birds. After that, it was time to head home. The drive back was pretty, you can't beat a Southern Sunset.

Home remedies for Acne Scars

Remember a few weeks ago when I posted about how bad of acne I was having? Well turns out, I have been using St.Ives Apricot Face Scrub, and it is working a little bit better then Papa's Sulfur Soap (which I was using). But I have noticed I have a few faint acne scars. So I looked up some natural ways to get rid of these little scars of mine. I actually came across a great site for Natural Remedies.
If you too, have a few faint scars, you can try these natural remedies with me!
I am going to try the face mask tonight. Ohhh boy, I can't wait!

1. Lemon Juice

To get rid of blemished and dark acne scars squeeze some juice out of lemons or limes. Apply the juice on your acne scars with a cotton ball. Leave this on your face for 10-15 minutes and rinse off with water.

2. Tomato

Renew your skin by slicing up a tomato and placing it over you acne scars. This works to heal damaged skin because tomatoes contain lots of vitamin A and antioxidants.

3. Olive Oil

Moisturize your skin and fade away acne scars by massaging olive oil on your acne scars.

5. Ice

A quick way to reduce the appearance of acne scars is by rubbing an ice cube on your acne scars. This will soothe irritated skin, tighten pores and give your skin an even texture.

6. Sandalwood and Rosewater

Mix some sandalwood and a couple of drops of rosewater until it forms a past. Use this as a facial mask and leave it on overnight. Wash off completely in the morning. You will notice smoother skin because sandalwood helps cool and sooth your skin.

And you can always try a Natural Face Mask

A great face mask that you can make at home to get rid of acne scars is:
- 1 tablespoon sour cream
- 1 tablespoon yogurt
- 1 tablespoon oatmeal
- A couple of drops of lemon juice
Mix all of these together and place the mask on your acne scars or entire face and leave it on for 10-15 minutes and then wash off.

Fabulous Idea

I think this is a creative idea..
A few months ago, my father gave me a box that glasses of Merlot came in.
The box has been sitting underneath a table of mine for awhile now. Well, yesterday, I was thinking of storing some things in it, so when I opened it the box I noticed some wood; which held the bottles in place, I took them out and just started messing around with them, then came up with this great idea!
All you need is:
 - Wood, (from wine cases).
-Glue Gun, with Glue Sticks.
-Acrylic Paint.
-Scissors.
-and Twine.
(And maybe glass if your going to use yours as frames).
. . . . . . . . . . . . . .
1. Glue the three pieces of wood together.
2. Paint wood whatever color your heart desires, I went with a Coastal Blue color.
3. Take white paint, and paint around the circles, inside the circles, and the frame.
4. Take twine, measure it around frame, cut it, and only glue the twine to the bottom of the frame, your going to need the top part of the twine to be free, so you can hang it in case you want to use it as pictures frames.
And Ta Da!
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
I need to go get some glass cut from Lowes, and some beachy pictures developed to put in them.
But for right now, I am being creative and put them on a shelf in the kitchen. It adds a pop of color in there, and makes the ceilings seem higher.

Let's eat some brains, shall we...

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

I love snacks, especially fruits and veggie snacks!
Recently I have been eating Cauliflower with Ranch Dip. It's so tasty! I could probably eat the whole head of a Cauliflower! I also love munching on Broccoli and Dip, Carrots, and let's not forget Celery with Peanut Butter!
You can't get any healthier then that!

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Say hello to the monster

This is Chloe' Cupcake Monster,
I just wanted to share a few things about this cute Guinea Pig of mine.
I adopted her on September 11th of last year; I was having a bad morning, so my mum drove me to Pets Smart, and told me to pick out a piglet, luckily we got first dibs on the new pigs they were putting out. I picked out the craziest looking one!
She used to not make noise, which bothered me because my last pig, Molly, always made noise, especially when you were opening a bag of some sort, like Lettuce. Well a few months ago, Chloe' finally made noise! She usually only makes noise for my mum.. they have a special connection.
She likes to run away from me. If I leave her in my room, she constantly runs, if I let her outside, there is a good chance she is going to get away.. like earlier this morning, she ran away from me, she got stuck in Grape Vines. Bad bad bad piglet!
Her favorite thing to eat is Watermelon.
Her favorite thing to watch is Sex and the City.
Her favorite color is anything bold, like deep purple, or dark green.
Her favorite snack food is Yogurt Drops in Strawberry Flavor.
The one thing that she knows annoys me most is when she chews up her newspaper.
My mum recently bought her a new home/cage. It is three times bigger then her last one, so she is constantly running in circles around her Igloo. Oh and let's not forget, she grew even bigger. . . or maybe it's just all that crazy hair she has.
All in all, she is such a great pet! Guinea Pigs make perfect animals, I don't know what I would do if I didn't have a cute piglet!

Do you have a Guinea Pig, or any small animal of some sort? Please do share!

Hello Laundy Room

It's time to finish the laundry room!
My parents laundry room has never been finished. (My father likes to move from project-to-project). But it's time for him to finish this project!  It's such a small room, it can easily be finished within a few days. I am just so tired of walking in the their, and seeing the mud on the walls, the ceiling that needs to be redone, and the doors that need to be painted. I can't wait to show you all the finish project. I do have to give my father credit, he is a perfectionist, (that's why he takes so long to actually finish a project), but his work is unbelievable, with the help of my ideas of course!

This is our before laundry room....

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

And here
are some dreamy laundry rooms!

Shark Week

Let's go fishing..
So earlier today, my brother, and Jason were going Shark Fishing. I know what that means.. killing innocent little fish to catch bigger fish. So me being the sweet caring person that I am, didn't want to go. Well, I ended up getting pressured to go. I thought I could just lay out and read or something. Ha, yeah.. okay Kristen. The boys ended up catching tons of bait fish, which made me sad... "whyyyy do we have to kill them", I kept asking.
Once they were finished catching all the bait they needed, we headed to a spot close by the boat ramp, and started fishing, yes, I started fishing for Sharks. In the distance we could see the storm, and it was coming in. It was relaxing, watching the storm in the distance, and fishing with the guys. I ended up catching to baby Sharks, my brother caught some, and a Lady Fish, Jason caught a huge Lady Fish, and he also caught something that was massive, right when he was pulling it in, the line snapped! Oh well..
The storm started getting closer, lighting started to strike, it was definitely time to head to the boat ramp! As we started to make our way to the boat ramp, the wind started picking up, it was crazy! We probably looked like idiots.. but the good thing is, we made it back safe and sound.
