That's where the magic is..

All of these mushroom pictures were taken by me, on Bray's Island. Aren't they just so amazing? It's like little creatures really do live in them.. I hope you enjoy! Taken with an Olympus Stylus.

These pictures remind me of this song for some reason.. (and not in like a pot-smoking way, lol).

What a beach kinda day..

I went to the beach today with a few friends of mine, Jess, Andrew, and Dave (who is visiting right now). We all went to Hunting Island, and it turned out to be really fun! The waves were huge-because of the nice hurricanes we are getting. After we almost died in the waves, we decided to stay on dry land, and play some volley ball, soccer, and some other games you play with balls.. ha ha. (That sounded kinda perverted). We stayed until the sun went down pretty much. I didn't think I was going to get burned since the sun was barely out, but I did, on my face! Ahhhhhhh- damn those UVA Rays.. I think I got two new wrinkles.Woo, hand-fives in the air!No one can do it like me..Like I said, no one can do it like me...
This is how I walk around...

So this is what no where looks like..

All this way for the most mouth-watering boiled peanuts!

My dad decided to take my brother and myself out to the middle of nowhere.. (Actually my dad told my brother to drive us out to the middle of no where, since my brother is a beginner driver, and just loves it soo much). Anyways, it was like a good hour away, we crossed over I-95 and drove like thirty minutes away until we came up to Sniders Crossroads; It was seriously in the middle of no where, boondocks baby, got $60 worth of boiled peanuts and ate them the whole way back- yes, I was lethargic by the time I got home, when I think of a boiled peanut, I get sick.. But at the time they were very very very good! On the way back home, I made my brother stop so I could take pictures of these adorable cow's! They were a little shy, but I at least I got some good pictures!

What a Thursday..

On the way to Charleston, we came through a heavy storm, but I do have to say it looked beautiful as we were driving on the causeway. (But it's not fun driving in, especially when your driving on one the most dangerous roads in the south).

On the way to we stopped by one of my favorite places, the Bull Grape Farm, it was raining so we couldn't pick, but thankfully those cute old people were out there selling the Grapes by the pound. So we $10 worth, and ate them on the way! If you ever go to Charleston SC, you need to go to this little Irish Cafe' called The Blue Rose Cafe' My mom and I ate there for dinner, and it turned out to be really good! There were only like two other people there, which was unusual cause usually when we drive past there, they are always packed. They have a really cozy place, and there bathroom makes me think of my Grandma, that's how cozy it is! My mom ordered a Cesar Salad, and a Veggie Burger, with fries. I ordered the Flounder, with melt in your mouth Mashed Potatoes, and French String Beans. Did I mention the cook was soo adorable? .. well, he was.

Love ♥

I'm in love with Fruit 2 Day, in the Mango Peach flavor! I first tried these simply amazing drinks at a Grand Opening at Publix in Florida, they had samplers everywhere, and this drink just happen to be one- it was a sign! I just love it! Two come in a pack (And there is always a coupon inside the pack), when there on sale at my Publix I buy at least three 0r more packs! They are great for breakfast, just a quick drink, and your on your way out the door, or you can drink it while on the way to work! I really love the Mango Peach flavor, but the Strawberry and Orange is good, too. They also have a new flavor, which is Cherry Grape, but I can't find it anywhere.. Did I mention it's a drink, with real fruit bits in every sip! It's 100% juice, all natural, no sugar added, and only 120 calories! If you see them at your grocery store, grab it, and just drink it on the way home, you will looooove it!

Mmm, Tilapia for dinner!

Tilapia for dinner- I purchased some good looking Tilapia today from Publix. I have really been craving it with a little bit of lemon, dill, parsley, and garlic, and that's how I made it! It it such a great tasting fish! It's definitely one of my favorites, besides Salmon. I also made Brussel Sprouts, Rice Pilaf, and Yellow Squash to go along with it. (My mom made a German Chocolate Cake for dessert, yumm)! Here's the recipe-

Ingredients
4 tilapia fillets
3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon butter, melted
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
pepper to taste

Directions
1.Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Spray a baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
2.Rinse tilapia fillets under cool water, and pat dry with paper towels.
3.Place fillets in baking dish. Pour lemon juice over fillets, then drizzle butter on top. Sprinkle with garlic, parsley, and pepper.
4.Bake in preheated oven until the fish is white and flakes when pulled apart with a fork, about 30 minutes.

I also found something wonderful today, sunflowers! At my local Publix, for only $2.99! Aren't they lovely? They are just so cheerful, I love them!

Sweet kitchens..

One of my favorite rooms in a house is the kitchen. I just love cooking, and these kitchens just make me want to get up, and start cooking! Aren't these kitchens just amazing? When I find my future house, it must have a fabulous kitchen, like one of these! What's your favorite room in a house?

Saturday finds!

So my mum and I went to quite a few yard sales today- we didn't really get much, she found some really cute pins, she found me a pin that came with really cute, vintage screw-in earrings *I don't have my ears pierced*, some nick-nacks from Mexico; like a small painting, and a candle holder, and I got a chair for only a dollar! (I can't wait to refurbish it!) My rooster Lulu.
Oh and we stopped by Palm & Moon to pick up some tasty bagels! If you ever come to downtown Beaufort you have to stop by there! They have really amazing bagels, salads, and sandwiches!
