You can still get gifts..

After your birthday!
____________________________
My ex boyfriend, Jason, Finally decided to give me my presents! I hadn't seen him in about a week or so, and I thought I was going to see him on my birthday, but he never came over. Well yesterday he called, and said he had a little something for me. He wanted to come over, but I had so much to do, I just met him somewhere. He got out of his truck, and had beautiful flowers in his hand! (He had them for a couple of days!) But they were still pretty! He also got me a $30 gift card to Petsmart, and $30 gift card to Victoria Secret! - Along with Heath miniture candies, a Toberlone Candy Bar, and Sour Patch Kids, which I can't eat.. too much sugar! Then he took me to Jim-N-Nicks for dinner, it was really good. I'm glad he got me a little something, esp. for making me wait! Ha-

Hello Secret Santa

Tonight my mum and I went out to a few stores, Lowes being one of them. I always buy my Christmas lights at Lowes, so we went down the Christmas isle, picked up some white and gold lights, and then I started looking at all the lit up yard decorations. As I moved down the isle, I started looking at the little lit up tree's that you would put on your front porch. They had the one I loooove, it's there every year; but unfortunately it's a little too much.. Anyways while I'm looking at the tree's, this man walks by, and asked if I liked them, I said "oh yes, I love them but they are a little to expensive", he laughed and replied "ah, money isn't nothing"! I was just like okay, maybe to you buddy. Then I walked off with my mum. As we were on the next isle looking, he came up and asked my opinion on one of the little lit Christmas trees, so I walked back with him. He said he wanted another one for his porch, so I showed him the one that I love. He, too, liked it, and asked if I was going to get the same one, I said "no, it's too much for me..". He just laughed and said "thank you".

I walked away and my mum and I went outside to look at the real Christmas tree's and wreaths.. the smell just makes me instantly think of Christmas. As we walked back inside to go look at the Poinsettias, I saw the man with the little Christmas tree in his buggy, he waved a friendly wave. When we were getting ready to check out, that man came back up to me, and asked my name. I said it was 'Kristen', he replied "Merry Christmas Kristen, the tree is yours"! He gave me the receipt, and said "it's already paid for, and waiting up at the desk". Wha wha whaaaaaaaaat! (That's all that was going through my head..) I was so shocked, I didn't know if it was true.. I stood there with my mum, paralysed. Then when I finally had the courage to shut my mouth and move my feet, we walked up front and asked the woman, she said "yup, he said it was yours". My mum said "we have to go find him and thank him", so we went in search for him. As soon as we found him, I walked up, hugged him, and just asked "why".. he said "I could see the twinkle in your eye, and I could tell you really wanted it". Then he said "Don't ever stop believing in Santa". I hugged him three more times after that, I just couldn't believe someone could be so sweet! It turns out, he's a Pastor that just moved here, I guess God was talking through him, huh. After I said my thanks yous, my mum and I walked away, I looked at her, she had begun to cry. I asked why, she said "that's the sweetest thing". And it really was the sweetest thing. I will forever have my little tree, I love it! And every time I see it, I will think of the sweet man who gave it to me. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Now it's my turn to do something sweet!

Did I mention the tree was around $70!

Birthday wants..

What do I want for my '21st' birthday.. (which is tomorrow, just to let all of ya'll know).
well for starters, I would love more lovely followers, along with more sweet comments :)
I want lots of hugs, and kisses instead of butt-spankings, and pinches!
I want it to be a gorgeous day outside, not too hot, not too cold, sun shinning bright and a few clouds in the sky.
I want a lot of 'Happy Birthday's on my Facebook wall, I have never ever gotten over like 20.. but somehow other people, get a bajillion! -am I not awesome or something?
There's nothing I really 'want' or 'need' other then some new clothes.. and shoes.. how about these?
The dresses, and skirts are from Mod Clothing.
The shoes/heels are from Sundance.
Girls can always use some new clothes, unfortunately, I'm not a millionaire, so I can't afford all of these..
And the gloves are just some spa gloves I want for when I go to sleep at night, so they can repair, and look beautiful in the morning.

Just a small thank you..

Meagan from Mo pie, please , gave me this lovely award! She really made my day, and here I thought nobody likes to read my blog! Thank you verrrry much for putting a smile on my face Meagan! -and if you haven't heard of her or her blog, do check it out, it's one of my fav's!

So this is how it works: Thank the person who gave you the award, tell 7 facts about yourself, give the award to 7 bloggers you just love, & leave the 7 bloggers a comment telling them they won!

1. I was named after two soap operas, first name was from The Bold and The Beautiful (Kristen) and the middle name was from The Young Restless (Ashley). I guess she really liked those actresses!
2. I have to have green 'frozen' peas in my Macaroni & Cheese.. or I will not eat it! I know it sounds odd, but I just really don't like all that cheesy-ness, so the peas kinda make it less cheesier!
3. I collect postcards from everywhere I go, and I tell all my friends to get me postcards from where ever they go as well, I have over 150 postcards, but I still don't have all '50' states, which I will one day get, all by myself!
4. I love love love animals! I would rather be around a dog or cat, rather then a human, animals just seem more intelligent, and they don't argue with you, they instead, want to be loved, or they want their space. I love that. -Ha. I am also a vegetarian just because I love animals soo much! I do eat fish, which I feel horrible about, and I would really like to stop, but as of right now, I can't get enough of Flounder.. (your so bad.. that's me talking to myself.)
5. I do not like people that SMOKE! I really wish those people who do smoke, would swollow a cigarette, and like die.. okay, not die, but just realize that they aren't good for you at all! Why do it? I think they smell horrible, they obviously don't taste good, they kill you.. and did I mention I get migraines from them? Yeah, I do. So if your near me, please back away, or you'll see the nicest person turn into the Devil! - moving on..
6. I am addicted to Sex and They City, I seriously watch an episode or two a day. I never get bored of it, ever! My favorite girl is Samantha, but I kind of have to relate to each one of the girls in some way. I love the show, and the movies, even if the second movie was kinda out-of-whack. Hearing SATC just makes me smile! ..(and I love that they are older women, older women are sexy, I can't wait to be in my 30's and rock some heels!)
7. I love vintage Christmas Bulb Ornaments! I thank my mum for this! She has a bajillion of them, and last year I started collecting them like crazy! I went toThrift Stores, Yard sales, and even Flea markets to find them, and let me just say, my collection will blow you away, it's fabulous! I am still insearch for some old green ones. Which I will surely find soon, with Christmas coming up soon!

Okay that was fun, now here are the seven lovely ladies I chose:

A daring little life she's my new bestie, and I'm so glad I met her in our photography class.
Blossoming visions her Christmas pictures/decorations make me smile.
Brunch at Saks I just love her blog name, and her blog is so cute.
Fairy tales are true I enjoy reading her blog, and her pictures are quite fun.
Tales of me and the husband  She loves dogs, as do I.
The way we are Her pictures of decorating make me want to go shop.
Milk Teeths Check out her Etsy Shop, it's so vintage, and fun.

It's only a Turkey Gobble Away!

Thanksgiving, is a time where you slave in the kitchen, eat the food that could feed hundreds, and then pass out with a full tummy.. thinking to yourself .. 'I still have all those dishes to clean, Ahh' ! But I'd like to think of it as a time where people come together, eat tasty homemade food, sip on wine, make crafts with the kids, and just have a great family time, (and when I mean family, that also means close friends). That just sounds better to me! But actually my '21st' birthday falls on Thanksgiving, so I'll be a Turkey Baby this year. So along with all the home made food, I will be having cake as well! Maybe I should have a peach pie for my cake, it kinda goes with the season. I'm really gonna have a belly after this Holiday!
Here are a few Thanksgiving pictures I found on Better Homes & Gardens. Aren't those wreaths fun! -Especially the first one, I love it!  What are your plans for Thanksgiving?

Why thank you!

So Amy from A Daring Little Life picked me to answer a few questions! Thanks Amy!
This is what I came up with-
1.What did you first want to be when you grew up? Still till this day, I want to 'be' a lot of things! But when I was younger, I wanted to be a back up dance for the Backstreet Boys or Nsync, I would literally dance in my backyard, blaring music! I would take my father's ladder and drop in on the ground, and hop through all the holes! I loveeeeed to dance, still do. And then I wanted to be a model, interior decorator, a food critic, open a smoothie/sandwich shop (vegetarian or at least free-range) and now I want to be photographer! So much to do in so little time!
2.Favorite childhood game? Playing Barbie! I think when I wasn't dancing or doing school work, or chores I was always playing with all my thousands of Barbies, I didn't really like playing with them so much, I just loved decorating all their houses, I would go around my house and use things like baskets for their beds, extra tile ( my parents had for the laundry room ) I would use for their tile floors, I would use small boxes my mom had for their side tables or dinner table, I just loved to decorate! -Still do till this day.
3.Most favorite birthday? I'm hoping it's going to be this year's '21' baby! On Thanksgiving! But when I was younger, I'd say up to about Thirteen they were all amazing! I think it was just being a kid, I was soo excited! And the way my mom always decorated made me happy, she's the best, still till this day, she always has a cake and decorates the table with fancy stuff!
4.Something you've always wanted to do and haven't done yet? Skydive! I will do it one of these days, I'm not scared of the whole 'height' thing but more of just diving or falling out, like what if I hit the plane.. I wouldn't want that to happen! Other then that, I have always wanted to visit the Pyramids! I collect postcards from everywhere I go, (and I make my friends get me postcards from wherever they go as well), but I have always wanted one of the Pyramids.. someday I'll get one!
5.What was your first love? My bunny rabbit, Gilbert.. I remember getting him from Roy's Aquarium. He was was white with black ears, a black nose, and a couple of blackish/brownish spots. When I first saw him, I knew he was the one, he had floppy ears! Which I looooved, then when we took him home, his ears perked up! It was like he was acting or something.. grr! But I still loved him, he was the sweetest bunny ever. I can't wait to see him when the time comes!
6.First musical idol? Oh come on, it was the Spice Girls! I couldn't get enough of them! I always loved Sporty Spice and Posh, I could never chose between the two cause they were both like me in a way.. I used to have big 'goofy' shoes like them, I would try to dress like them, talk like them.. I just wanted to be like them! Ha ha.. now I look back and just ask myself, 'what were you thinking'..
7.Favorite gift? The trip to Wyoming and Montana! My dad worked for these people for a long time, they were like family to us, and one year instead of giving my dad a bonus check, they paid for my family to go out to Montana and Wyoming to go see them! It was great! We went to Yellowstone, and drove to different towns, ate at some amazing restaurants, it was one of the best times of my life! And let's not forget the boots they bought me! They were soo expensive, but I wear them all the time, and I will for as long as I can!
8.If a theme song played for you everywhere you went, what would it be? Love Song by 311
9.Favorite city to visit? Yonkers NY. I seriously love the city! I love how you can walk down the street to like five pizza places! I love how Wal-Mart and Target are two-three-four story's up! Your only a few mins away from the town of Sleepy Hollow, which is one of my favorite places! I just really love it there.. it's definitely one of the places I'd like to have a house someday. (But the one problem I do have, is all the tolls, and traffic! Eek!). And my favorite town is Marathon in the Florida Keys! I will have a house there one day, before is floods!
I don't know if there was a question ten or not. .
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Here are the five people I chose to do the same thing:
Tricia- A Rosy Note

The Misfits!

Yay! I did my 'first' 5k Mud Run, our team was in fourth place, there were five teams.. let's just say it wasn't fair! The three teams were Army, Marines, and the Fire Department! How is that like fair?! They run 10 miles a day, come on, give the lazy people a break! Oh and let's not forget, they were all dressed in the same uniforms, ha ha! Anways we ran it in 45 mins! -Not bad for being firt timers. The mud was so fun, we had to get on our knee's and go under rope/caution tape, then we had to run a 20-25 ft. ditch that was filled, (we kinda got stuck in that, and it smelt soo bad!), then we had to go over a log.. then a wall! And finally we ran through the mud pit, (I face plowed it),and we all got pretty much got stuck, but we held hands, and made it across! Great team support! Then we all had to hose off in the freezing cold water, then Jaimie wanted to go play in the mud, so we did that, had people take videos and pictures of us, then we had to hose off again, in the freezing cold water! As of right now, my ankle is in pain, my knees are aching, my throat is sore.. I'm ready for a drink! I hope all of you are having a great weekend!

Have you ever ran a in a mud run?

Oh yeah and in March they are having another one, I will be practicing for sure!

Let's get dirty!

Last night I registered for the Yemassee 5k Mud Run. I finally found a fifth person for our team, there will be three girls, Jordan, Jaimie, and myself, and two boys, Andrew and Charlie. We were going to name our team "The Spartans" .. but I just didn't care for it; none of us have twelve packs, and wear leather diaper skirts! So I thought about it.. and then Rudolph popped in my head 'We're nothing but a bunch of Misfits'! 'That's it', I thought! We are all so different, and no one wants us ha ha, so that's our team name! I can't wait for tomorrow! All the individual runner's will start at ten, once they are finished, all the teams will start. I saw a few pictures of the course, and let's just say.. I'll be getting myself a little dirty! I went to Wal-Mart last night.. yes, I said Wal-Mart, (the place I totally dislike), and found some long leggings that were $5 and a tank top that was on clearance for $2. Thankfully I have a pair of old New Balances that I can use, the only problem is they said to try to wear ankle boots/shoes, if you can't find any, use duct tape! -Cause the mud will get in your shoes, and I'm assuming you'll slide out.. the other thing I have to remember is to hold hands while crossing the finish line! Oh boy, I can't wait! Here's an aerial view of the track we'll be running.

Feebee my love ..

Meet Feebee, she is soft and cuddly, licks when loved, and drools when she's happy. Her paws are made of velvet, her eyes are as green as a lime, her whiskers can go for miles and miles. Whistle and she'll be at your side in matter of seconds. She is not only a cuddler, she's my best friend. Did I mention she loves to be infront of the camera?

Do you have a kitty?
Tell me what you love about him or her.
 I love cat people ♥

On this Tuesday-

While my mum and I went for our morning walk we noticed that there were a ton of cans, I told her.. 'you know with all these cans, we could make some extra money', she agreed, but we needed a bag! Well ha, would you know it, a few feet away, there was a white garbage bag with a can already in it- 'I guess it was a sign'! We picked up soo many cans, and bottles, even cardboard. -It amazes me at how people can litter soo much trash- it's really disgusting! And we have come to notice that there are a lot of people that like to drink beer! Gross people..
But hey it's a three-in-one; we are helping the environment, we are getting our exercise, and we will be making a few dollars! We ended up carrying these 5,000 steps!

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
On a prettier note, here are some pictures I took this morning. I think South Carolina is slightly getting some fall foliage! -Finally. My favorite photo is the one right below, with the water drops.. I was walking around and and my eye instantly caught it! I love morning time, today was just one of those overcast days, where you just want to lie in bed and snuggle with your kitty, or in my case, my Guinea Pig! I hope everyone is having a nice Tuesday!

-Smell good for the Holidays-

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
If you haven't tried this amazing hand soap from Bath & Body Works, then you need to go to the store and buy six of them (cause they are on sale for $20), go home, and wash your hands in all the different scents.. you'll be happy! My favorite is the Caramel Apple, it smells sooooo delicious, and it keeps your house smelling quite delicious as well! I just want to keep washing my hands! And let's not talk about the fabulous candles Bath & Body Works has! I could go crazy in that place- What's your favorite scent in Bath and Body Works?

This Friday-

So I met up with one of my friends, Amy; from photography class, downtown tonight! We went around for an hour, took some pictures and talked. Then we went to Nippy's, we have both been dying to go there, and since neither of us have ever been, we went!  I got a tasty flounder sandwich, she got shrimp slider sandwich, with a whole basket of fries, it was soo good! While we were eating, we were doing the whole talking, and getting to know each other thing. We had out own little band playing for us, it was really nice, the atmosphere really reminded me of the Florida Keys. ( Which is my favorite place to be, so that means I'll be going to Nippy's more often!) - and I'll be bringing my new friend along, too! After dinner, we went walking along the waterfront, and took pictures of the bridge.. unfortunately when I got home, they were all blurry! But if you check out Amy's Blog you can see how her awesome pictures turned out!
I am trying something new, buildings.. kinda unique, and remember "to always look up"!
Have a great weekend everyone!
